Great Strides 2012

Hi! I'm Kimber Anne Cluff! I am 3 years old and I have Cystic Fibrosis. I'm not letting it slow me down! I Love to run and ride my bike with my sister. I also love to camp and go fishing with my family. I am very diligent about taking all of my medicines morning and night! I can even swallow the BIG pills by myself now. I wear my percussion vest faithfully every morning and night for 30 minutes each. Sometimes it is hard, but I know how important it is to keep me healthy!

When I was diagnosed 18 months ago, at Primary Children's Medical Center, I was in the 5th Percentile for my weight. After learning the treatments I am in the 85th percentile!

I'm excited to have my very own team again this year called, Kimber Anne's FANS! My family wants to thank everyone for their support last year! I hope lots of my family and friends can come walk with me again this year! EVERYONE is welcome and encouraged to walk and/or donate!!

THANK YOU for helping me add more tomorrows to my life!! **In 1955 people with CF were not expected to live to the age of 5! Now the life expectancy is in the mid 30’s due to new research and treatments!!) Because of fundraisers like this, the CF researchers are coming closer and closer to finding my cure!

Love,

KiMbeR

(Daughter of Ben and Jill Cluff)

**Great Strides is the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation's largest and most successful national fundraising event. This year, I'm walking in the Great Strides walk at the (2012 Southern Utah - Coral Canyon Elementary, Washington, UT), 04/28/2012. Please help me meet my fundraising goal! Your generous gift will be used efficiently and effectively, as nearly 90 cents of every dollar of revenue raised is available for investment in vital CF programs to support research, care and education.

Fishing at Lake Powell

We had an awesome day yesterday on Lake Powell with Grandpa Cluff.
Aunt Tammy kept little Cody for the day so I could go too.
It was a beautiful day and we had a wonderful time!
Holdyn loved riding on the boat and is getting pretty good casting her own line out to fish.
Here is Ben with the first bass of the day.
We had a couple of slow moments ;)

Holdyn took advantage of those moments by relaxing and eating cheeto's.

Here is one of their favorites....leftover waffles.

Happy FISHING!

Happy Easter!

We enjoyed a GREAT spring break and Easter Weekend with lots of friends and family! Holdyn and Kimber spent HOURS outside playing in the yard with our across the street friends, Kadence and Jalese. Here they are during their intense waterfight ;)
We had a wonderful Easter Sunday, started out with our new Easter clothes for the kids and headed straight to church. We are so thankful to have the knowledge of our Savior's resurrection and to understand the meaning of this wonderful holiday!
Here are a few shots of the kids in the backyard.

Holdyn is also super proud to show off her 2 missing teeth.

We spent Friday and Saturday in St. George with the Baker side of the family and enjoyed every minute! We had the Easter egg hunt in Grumpa's back yard.
Here is Adam showing his cool side.

Here is Cody, kicking it with Katrine while the kids play.
Kimber checking out her loot.
Brad, showing us how to eat the robin eggs while Katelyn fights her way to the eggs high up in the trees.

Annie grabbin the eggs from the clothes-line pole, while Holdyn waits for help on the other end of the clothesline.

We visited the Andrus family and Kimber got to do one of her favorite things..... Wash their car.
Holdyn also got to do one of her favorite things....play with baby animals....in this case the Andrus' chicks.

We also spent some time at Brad and Katrine's house. Of course the girls wanted to be in the pool the ENTIRE time. Holdyn was proud to show us that she remembered how to swim without a life jacket or arm floaties.

Kimber (below) kicking it in the hot pool....AKA hot tub.

We sure love spending as much time with our families as we can before we make the big move to Albuquerque next month!!!

Cody is 2 1/2 months old!!!

Little Cody is already over 2 months old! He is growing so fast and is such a good baby!
As you can see the girls LOVE their little brother!
