The 'almost' trip to Yellowstone

Here we are passing the welcome to Montana sign.

We took a day trip to Yellowstone National Park...well, we got to the entrance and found it CLOSED for the season.  We missed it by 3 days :(  SO, we headed back.  We found a side road and had a picnic and played in the snow for a bit.  We still had a very fun day!

Here is Taylor....trying to decide if she likes the snow or not.
Kenzie Loved it!
It took Holdyn awhile to decide she liked it.  Emma also had a blast.
Here is Ben with his styling cowboy hat holding Kimber.
This is Josh and Tiffany and their 3 adorable girls.  They are the best hosts and tourguides EVER!
Here is the fam-damily.
Holdyn kept warming her hands down daddy's shirt.  She thought it was HILLARIOUS!  Anyway, we are having a great time!

More Idaho Fun

We are having a blast here in Idaho!  Holdyn LOVES spending time with the cousins!  Here are a few pictures from the last couple of days!

Here are the two little girlies.  Kimber is above and Taylor is below.  I'm hoping they get along great too!

Taylor and Kimber
We went with the family to check the traps.  Josh is a trapper and hoping to trap some bobcats this winter.  The only thing we caught yesterday was this coyote.

Here are Holdyn and I FREEZING in the breeze while the guys check the traps.
Here we are in the truck, again, waiting for the guys to check another trap. This is Emma, McKenzie and Holdyn.
Here is the beautiful McKenzie.
Holdyn and Emma are GREAT for each other.  They are both working on getting potty trained and having them together is working great!  They sit and cheer each other on.

Way to go Idaho!

We made it to Rexburg, ID last night after a Looong drive from Arizona.  We've had a blast soo far!  Today we got the tour of the city and went to feed the ducks at the park.

There were hundreds of ducks that were very hungary!

Here is cousin Emma! She and Holdyn play very well together.

Here is McKenzie.  She is quite the lego builder :)  Anyway, we are having a great time up here visiting Josh and Tiff and family!

Happy Halloween!!!

We had a VERY fun Halloween this year.  We ended up at my parents home in St. George, UT.  Kimber and Holdyn had a blast playing/eating the leaves that had fallen onto the ground.

Here we are with two of the pumpkins that we carved.  It was a very nice day to be outside playing.
I was a little worried about Holdyn wearing her monkey costume.  But as soon as she put it on she instantly turned into the crazy monkey that she is.  She LOVED being dressed up and seeing all of the other people/cousins in costume.
Little Kimber was a Giraffe.  She sure makes a cute one.
Here we are in the stroller doing some trick-or-treating with the cousins.
Here is Grandma Baker (the witch) with a few of the cousins.  Holdyn was a crack up.  She loved going to the neighbor homes Trick-Or-Treating.  For some reason she kept putting a piece of her candy into their candy bowls before they'd give her a piece. The neighbors all thought it was soo cute that they'd give her piece back plus a few extra... we.... I mean, she, scored on the candy!
It was a perfect evening to be outside.  We sat out front and helped hand out the candy to the other trick-or-treaters.  Holdyn loved seeing everyone in costume.
She thought all of our jack-o-lanterns were stools and kept sitting on one, then the next. I'm surprised her little tail didn't catch on fire.
By the end of the night Kimber crashed!  She slept through the night for the 2 time... yippee!  Holdyn, on the other hand had eaten too much candy and had a little bit tougher time settling down for the night.  Anyway, we sure had a blast and hope you all did too!!!
HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!

The Jack-o-lanterns

We had a great time carving our family Jack-O-Lanterns this year.  Here is what we came up with.

Here is Ben's Pirate.
This is Holdyn's smiley Face.
My (Jill's) Spider
Kimber's Bat.
Anyway, we sure had a fun time doing the Halloween tradition of carving the pumpkins :)
