Bakersfield house

Whelp here are a few pictures of the inside of our house.  This is the front/entry room.
Below is the kitchen (in the back room is the washer/drier)

This is Holdyn's room/Play room.  It is where the girls spend most of their time if they are not outside in the backyard.  Holdyn's bed is to the left....hiding behind the dresser.
We totally scored on this hutch this morning at a yard sale.  We got it for $20!  It needed some TLC and a door was broken, but we got it fixed up and shining like new in no time.
Here are the two little rulers of the house.  They are so fun to watch run through the house. They are starting to play really well together.  It is SOO nice to have more room for them to play!
We've been saving up for awhile and watching on Craigslist for a piano.  Ben even sold his jeep while we were home and put the money toward getting me a piano.  We found this one online the other morning in Fresno and drove right up to get it that day.  Now I've just got to get practicing again!
One last shot of Holdyn in the front room.  She is LOVING it here and so are we!

THE BIG MOVE

We've been moving around like crazy and living out of suitcases, but we FINALLY get to move into a HOUSE and we are LOVING it!  Our girls don't know what to do with so much room!  WE've got a 3 bd/2 bath house with a gated in backyard and a garage :) It is such a great feeling to have a place to call home!!  We haven't used our own furniture for almost 3 years since it has been in storage while we went to the island and while we've been moving from state to state doing different rotations.  It was like Christmas unpacking boxes of things we'd forgotten all about!
Here we are on the morning of the final move to Bakersfield :)  We took the bulk of our stuff to CA the week before with the help of Ben's Brother Josh and his wife Tiffany, THANKS GUYS! We really don't know what we would have done without their help and the use of my dad's truck and trailer!
I'll post more picts soon! We are doing well and excited for Ben to start at Kern County MD Center tomorrow with his orientation.  WE love the time he has had off between rotations.  Especially, since we don't know when his next break is going to be :)

Happy Father's Day and Birthday

Just  wanted to tell my great Husband how much I love him and appreciate all he does for me and our girls!  He is one amazing guy!  We hope you had a great Father's Day and Birthday!!!  We LOVE YOU!

Weekend Getaway

Our family has been crazy busy the last few weeks/months/okay year.  But we did have a few weeks in between rotations.  We finished up in New Mexico the end of May and we just moved to Bakersfield, CA the middle of June.  Anyway, Ben and I were lucky enough to have a weekend to spend together.   My parents took the girls for the weekend and Ben and I went camping in Beaver, UT.  It was AWESOME!

(Don't be jealous, we had some AWESOME dutch oven Potato's and Chicken...YUM!!)
Bella came with us and had a great time too :)
We did some fishing on the streams and enjoyed every minute!

Happy LATE Birthday to our big ONE year old KIMBER!

It is hard to believe our little Kimber is a year old!  She's had a BUSY year but we've enjoyed everyday with her.
Here is the birthday girl enjoying her ice cream push up.
We had to take her to Curacao just a week and a half after she was born to get her a passport to move back into the US.  She has a Dutch Birth Certificate and a Birth Abroad Certificate for the US.
Here she is just a few hours after she was born on the island of ST. Maarten in the hospital.  YES, that is a mosquito net and it was much needed!
Here she is with Gladys Busby, her island Grandma from St. Maarten.
This is another island Grandma, Hilda Bell.  She was there while I had the baby. She was a nurse on the island and we met her at church and she came with us which was a HUGE blessing.  We were treated much better having a native islander there with us!
Here is the island's midwife, Ms. Janga.  She was AMAZING and had delivered over 7000 babies without losing one.  We were so happy with her!

Anyway, we love you Kimber and hope you have another great year!
