Allergies strike again!
To add to the 'excitement' this past weekend of the funeral and 1400 miles in the truck, Kimber broke out in some serious bumps/hives. It started with just a few around her diaper, then spread all over her entire body.... I mean from the top of her head to the bottoms of her feet. Luckily she didn't run a fever, so we weren't too concerned.... but still concerned enough. She wasn't acting like they were bothering her, however, the bumps did get bright red in the heat and places where she got hot.... so we thought it might be heat rash. Anyway, it continued to get worse each day we were on the road. We tried to keep her away from the other babies fearing it might spread to them. Luckily we got her into the Dr. and he confirmed that it is an allergic reaction to something. We are having a hard time finding out what the heck is causing it but she does seem to be doing a bit better since we've been home. It's really rough on her skin and it looks dry/flaky. It did start to itch her yesterday so we've been trying to stop her from scratching. This poor gal has had a rough 15 months!

Fun with Cousins
It is too bad that it takes a funeral to get our family all together. Holdyn couldn't get enough of playing with her cousins. Especially Courtney, they were joined at the hip. We had a fun time and a huge sleep over at Grandma Oakeson's house. I'm sure going to miss that place! In the picture below are her infamous teal colored couches from a LOOONG time ago :) They've always been a staple in her home as long as I can remember. They are totally retro and coming back in style. We had to get a picture of some of the kids on them. Here is uncle Joel torturing Holdyn, as you can see she LOVED every minute of it.

A quick stop in Fredonia, AZ
We got to stop on our way home from Grandma O's Funeral in Fredonia, AZ. Holdyn was in 7th Heaven playing with Kenzie, Emma, and Taylor. She got to sleep over at their house and we went with them to see the horses. Holdyn didn't even want to ride in our truck when they were around. She pretty much stayed with their family the entire time we were in Fredonia.
