Kimber turns the BIG 4!!

WE Had a super fun day on Kimber's Birthday!  Luckily it was the day before Ben started at the hospital so we got to spend the entire day as a family and it was great!!  Here are the girls coming downstairs after they woke up and got ready :)

Kimber REALLY wanted to go to the Abq. Aquarium.  So after doing some research I got us a screaming deal on a family pass to all 3 parks (Aquarium, Zoo, and Botanical Gardens)  So we spent the day at the 3!  We had a super great time!

Ben and the girls touched some stingrays and little sharks in the touch pool.

We then went next door to the botanical gardens and had a blast there too!

This sick man had one of those sick ginormous cockroaches in his pocket....and a bunch in a little cage.  Holdyn was brave enough to touch it!  SICK!  He had a little table inside the butterfly garden with centipedes and these huge cockroaches, tarantula's, and other creepy's that I didn't care to see!

The girls' loved the 'Honey I shrunk the kids' part in the castle garden...super fun!
A long slide went down this log!
Here we are inside of a huge pumpkin!

After a quick lunch we went to the Zoo!  It was the Zoo's birthday too!

After a loooong day out, we were all tired, but still had a great party when we got home for our big  4 year old Kimber!  She is a superstar!  She wanted sprinkles on her cake so that is what she got.....LOTS of them ;) We love you Kimber!

Happy Father's Day!!

HAPPY FATHER'S DAY to the wonderful BEN!
Our kids are sure lucky to have you for a daddy!
We had so much fun Father's Day and we sure hope Ben did too!  The girls
and I got up early to make him breakfast! We had to hurry because we also
had church early too.  The girls each picked out their gifts for Ben, and they had fun with them
all day long!

Here is the Father of the year with his 3 little stooges ;)
He also spoiled us by making some zucchini/banana bread for Kimber's birthday,
which happened to be the day after Father's Day.  She was soo very excited!

A Tad bit more fun in Albuquerque

Whelp, we've almost been here a month already!  Time has been flying by!  So far we are really enjoying life in Albuquerque!  We've made some great friends and are getting more and more settled each day!

Here are some cute pictures of the kids.  I asked Kimber to run and get my glasses and the next thing I know they are having a grand old time trying them on and playing around...of course Ben was with them and took some pictures.  Little cutie pies!

Here is little Cody.  He is either awake and happy and demanding an audience OR sound asleep!  We are so thankful to have such a happy and healthy little guy! We sure love him!
We have a Dollar Tree around the corner that is now known as the "Prize Store."
I told them each week they are super good and earn enough marbles, we can go and pick out one item at the "Prize Store."  Working great so far!  They picked out these streamers and have had hours of fun with them!

We are already getting used to life without Ben again.  The girls have been super big helpers and have played so well together!  It is good to be moving forward in our own space and our own lives again!

Getting Settled in Albuquerque

Whelp, we've made it a week!  Here are a few picts from Sunday afternoon.  Here is our awesome little yard that we are VERY lucky to have.  The grass is astroturf so we can't kill it, but I must say it does get hotsie totsie under your feet in the middle of the day!!

We took these fun pictures of the kids.  They are getting a lot of each other...good thing they are best friends....most of the time.

The girls were being stunt devil's and Ben got some sweet action shots of them doing their jumps!  It was pretty hilarious!  Especially these ones of Holdyn!

Today we went for a drive and saw the temple and went up to the base of the mountain where the Tram leaves from.  The girls can't wait to go on it!  We will have to plan a day trip sometime soon!  It was beautiful though with all of the Cactus' out in bloom.  They had flowers of bright pink and yellow.

These picts are at the tram station.  The girls wanted to have their picture taken with the beautiful roses overlooking the city.

They also loved playing on the rocks, below, you can see the Tram in the background just leaving the station headed up the mountain.
So far so good here in Albuquerque, NM.  We are getting more familiar with the area and having some great family time before Ben starts his residency at UNM. There are 10 other residents here in our Ward at church.  Only one is also just starting his intern year.  It has been such a blessing e to have the church wherever we go.  We've had instant friends and family away from home.  This past Sunday when we walked into church, Holdyn leans over to me and says, "MOM, We've been here before!"  Even though we hadn't, she felt the feelings that we felt of being in a safe place that feels like 'HOME!'
