Grandma and Grandpa Baker's Visit!

I just realized I still had a folder with these pictures to post.  This was over a month ago, but I thought I had better get it posted so when Grandma and Grandpa come again in a few weeks I can post the new pictures too.
We had a GREAT visit with Grandma and Grandpa Baker!
Ben was working nights and sleeping during the days, so we didn't see much of him.
The girls LOVED showing Grandma and Grandpa around the town.  They also enjoyed one of their favorite things at our house....swimming in the lil pool.

We also spent a day at the zoo and aquarium.

Kimber being the tour guide for grandma and Grandpa as they got off the train at the aquarium.
We had fun watching the little trains and walking through the Botanical Gardens.

YIKES a gigantic spider! (The girls teased Grandpa about spiders the whole week, so it was perfect that they got them under the spider and tried to scare them again)

 Holdyn inside the aquarium.

Holdyn was so proud of her playdough creation.  She made a cupcake with sprinkles.  It took her quite awhile to get it 'perfect.'  These girls can be entertained with play-dough for quite awhile!

Sorry there are so many pictures...but I wanted to get them all in.  I think the girls favorite thing at the aquarium is the wishing pond as you enter the building.  I always have to be sure to have some pennies for them to toss in.  Kimber usually wishes for a toy or pony or something.  Holdyn almost always wishes for Kimber's Cystic Fibrosis to go away. (She started doing this at Primary Children's...they have a pond outside the hospital that she loved to walk out and toss in coins and wish for Kimber to get out of the hospital.  Just shows what a sweet gal Holdyn is.)
We took a Sunday afternoon trip to the temple grounds.  Albuquerque has a beautiful temple.
The girls especially loved the fountain.

We love you Grandma and Grandpa....Thanks for coming to visit, and take us to Costco, and everywhere else for supplies!!!
Can't wait to see you again in a few weeks!

Cody!

Cody sometimes gets overlooked by the camera as his sisters are so demanding of the attention.  He has been such a good sport being in his car seat so much as we drive his sisters to and from school.
We couldn't have asked for a better baby.  He is so happy and flexible with his sleep schedule...we were truly blessed to have him in our family!

His sisters LOVE him too!  They want to sit by him, eat by him, sleep by him, play with him, help him crawl, help him sit, feed him...etc. etc. etc.  They can't get enough of him either!
We love you little Cody!  (He also got his first hair cut by his daddy last weekend)  What a handsome little guy!

Labor Day

We didn't know until last minute that Ben was going to have the day off....it was GREAT!
We decided to take a ride up to the top of the Sandia Mtns and get the girls out!
It was crazy busy with people, but we had a fun time anyway!
Kimber and Holdyn loved being out in the hills again. Ben took them on a short hike while I found some shade and relaxed with little Cody.  They had a blast!
We can't wait until we have more time with Ben and are not so close to a huge city.

We hope you enjoyed your Labor Day too!!

Kimber Starts Pre-School!!

Here is the little squirt on her first day at La Petite Academy.
She was soooo excited to be able to go to school too!

Miss Paulene and Miss Lorena are her teachers and she LOVES them!
She comes home singing songs and telling me stories almost everyday.
She goes at 830 and is there until 1230.  They feed them breakfast and lunch.
She has lots of friends from primary that go there too!  I think 8 of the 20 kidlets there are from our ward.  Needless to say she is really enjoying herself!
Here is a picture of Kimber and Holdyn.  They are such sweet girls. Holdyn sits right by Kimber almost every morning to do her treatment....what a great big sister!  They have to wake up pretty early to get everything done to be ready to get out the door by 7:45 for the drive to their schools.
Kimber was sooo excited about her new backpack...she wanted me to take about 50 pictures of it!
She is such a great little gal!  It has been good for her and me to get into the early routine.  It was also quite the ordeal to get the school educated and permission slips etc for her to take her meds for her CF.  They have been great to work with and are going above and beyond to make sure she has a great experience!
