We Love You Guys!!!

This is my Brother, Jason, and his awesome family!  We sure miss them!  They've had a very exciting weekend!  Their baby girl, Brielle, is finally all theirs.  The adoption is final.  They were sealed as a family in the St. George Temple on Friday.  On Saturday, Bridger was baptized, and today Brielle was blessed in church.  We are soooo sad we could not be there with you guys!  We hope it all went well and can't wait to hear all about it!    We Love You!!!

Fun Church Business :)

Okay, so yesterday there was an activity planned with some ladies from church.
We were going to meet at the church building then carpool to Grande Case for
some sort of cultural fair..... so I thought.  I arrived to a surprise Baby shower for our
upcoming baby!  It was soo fun!!
All thanks to Debbie!!
Here is the party planner herself!
I've also been busy helping put together the life history of these two ladies!
They are some NEAT gals who have survived quite a lot! We made them DVD's
and are working to get their life stories published in the church's newspaper.
It has been great to get to know the locals better! They are seriously full of mischief!
I can't wait to do a few more life histories before we head home in August.
They take a lot of time, but have been soo fun to work on!
There was also a cruise ship that had a group of about 60 members of the church stop in for the day.  They wanted to do a service project while they were here, on their vacation.
So, they painted the church building.  It was fun to meet them.... mostly from Salt Lake County.
The ladies in the church put together a HUGE lunch for them.  It was a lot of fun... I wished I could have helped more... but I was mostly running after little Holdyn.... who also LOVES to paint and get painted :)
She did sit at the lunch table for just long enough to get a picture with Izaak and Anabel.
A young man, Chakeem, was also baptized last week.  He chose to be baptized at Le Gallion Beach.  It was neat to be there... early.... on a Saturday morning.  Ben gave a talk before the baptism and it turned out GREAT!
Here we are with our Sr. Missionary couple... the Coleman's, who we LOVE!  They are being transferred to the office on Trinidad so this is their last week here. THey've been here for 8 months.  We will miss them but are excited to see who comes next!
Here we are just after the baptism.  The winds were perfect for the windsurfers who were just getting started when the baptism ended.  Anyway, that is a quick update with the fun we are having with our church friends!!!

Planes and Boats!

So I realized I haven't updated in awhile and I found some fun pictures.

Here are my two favorite St. Maarteners watching the planes land at Sunset Beach Bar.  Holdyn Loves watching the planes and I love their Cheeseburgers :)
We also went to the St. Maarten Yaght Club for dinner with some friends and were lucky to be there when the bridge opened.  Lots of boats came in and then we got to see this one.
It is called the "Sherkhan."  It was a tight squeeze coming through the bridge entrance
Into Simpson Bay.  We were lucky enough to have a front row seat as it came by!

Quick Re-cap

Okay to start off, Ben is NOT fishing and is most likely not smiling at the moment.  He is studying at the school keeping up on his classes (So that we can someday buy this mega-yaght 'Four Wishes')  Yeah, right, google it when you get a chance... we're talking $60 million PLUS!!  Where do people get that kind of money!  But we do enjoy seeing them up close.
Holdyn is doing what she does best...... just being adorable and into mischief.  One of her new favorite things is to get a hold of the end of the toilet paper and run and see how much she can get before I rip it off.  Then she uses what she has to wipe the mirror or floor.... she is quite the little helper.
As for me, Rachel and I went and had much needed massages yesterday.  We both received gift certificates from our great hubby's at the same day spa.  So I had the pre-natal and enjoyed it VERY MUCH!!! We're still walking every morning and feeling pretty dang good.

Holdyn spends her spare time playing with this great game.... Elefun.  It is a little elephant with about a 5 ft. trunk that blows out butterflies that Holdyn can run around and catch with her net. She LOVES it!  Thanks Grandma and Grandpa Palmer!
We also made it to the SXM Zoo a few weeks ago.  It is quite small and full of random birds and a few other animals, but fun to get out nonetheless.  One of her favorite features is the playground we play on after we see the animals.  She especially loved the dolphin swing.

Here we are in the Reptile cave.... it consists of about 8 snakes... we are next to the python.
One of the other favorite features is the 8 zillion random peacocks running around loose. Yes they were going through the playground and picnic area when this one decided to strut it's stuff.  We stayed as far away as we could though.... except to take a couple pictures.... aren't these birds supposed to be mean?  I didn't want to take any chances!
Here is another picture I just got from Stephanie of the Dinner Cruise.  This is the group of us that went.  L to R  Stephanie, Brandon, Cody, Rachel, Me and Ben.  It was sure a great night!
We also called a friend Hanna, when we went by her apt complex.  She has a great view and took some fun shots of the boat for us.  In this one we are the group on the front (Left) of the boat.   Thanks for the pics Hanna!

We're doing great and are hoping to find out if it is a boy or girl in 2 more weeks.  I have to mentally prep myself for each pre-natal appt.  But, things are going great soo far!

It was a Happy Valentine's Day!!

We had a great Valentine's Day!  Holdyn and I went to a Valentine Party put on by some friends while Ben was at School.  There were a lot of girls there and it was very fun to see them all!

Here are Stephanie and Rachel and me (I'm the chubby one on the right) just before the rain hit. It was great to go out with them!
This is me and my Valentine!  I love you Ben!!

It is official, I am strictly to take the pictures and avoid being in them at all costs!  Objects in photo's are Larger than they appear :)
Okay in my defense I am 21 weeks pregnant and I'm excited to say I've been walking at least 2 miles every morning with Rachel... and I've only gained 1 lb since I found out I was pregnant.... I've still got plenty of butt and thigh to go around, but hey, hopefully I don't gain another 60 lbs with this kiddo!  Okay, I'm done for now......

We hope you all had a Happy Valentine's day too!

Holdyn and the cheeseballs

We went down to the beach this morning..... it has been awhile since we've been.  Anyway, Holdyn got this cute green swimming suit from our great friend Rachel. Thanks Rachel!!!  So we had to go and try it out.  We decided to take some cheeseballs for a snack.  You can buy huge barrels of cheeseballs here and we usually have one on hand.  Anyway, Holdyn loves the cheeseballs and she also loves sand and salt water. So she'd have a cheeseball, dipped in the seawater and rolled in sand.  YUMMY!  Anyway, she had a cheeseball in her mouth or in her hand almost the entire time we were there.
