Quite a few kids here are pretty close to Holdyn's same age. She was able to get out and play with two of them today.
Since she can't be around all of her cousins, it is good to have family-like friends here! This is Holdyn and Jack.

member of the branch and is also going to cosmetology school. She gave me some great highlights and a trim. I was the first actual person she did highlights on...she did a good job! She'd only practiced on the mannequins. Funny thing, I've heard my friends who are hairdressers back home....Kandice and Andee..... say that it is hard to work on black people's hair. Well, I was in this salon on Front Street with 3 black hair stylists and they all were saying the same thing about white people's hair. It was great! Anyway, it was fun letting her practice!
