do many people out there celebrate the 4th? what did you guys do?
Hope you had a happy 4th! Did you have any fireworks? Could you even do them?
Hey guys, as for any celebrations.... not much went on. Ben still had school, nobody on the island recognized it as a special day. We had a bbq with a few other student families. I really missed the patriotic music and fireworks..... there was a house across the bay from us that had a few fireworks go off.... I was the only one that saw them. Ben was at the University studying and Holdyn was asleep so I went out on our balcony and watched. Definitely a different 4th of July than what we were used to!
I don't think it would feel the same at all without the fireworks and stuff, but we're glad you still got to celebrate it with a few other families!
What a cute baby you have! We are living in Salt Lake.
