We had to say good bye to our dog, Bella today. She has the strange habit of swollowing rocks...she's been sick before, but this time she couldn't pass it. She's been the best dog! The girls absolutely LOVE her, especially Holdyn! We didn't do much without taking Bella with us. She will truly be missed!!!

Bella
Holdyn's fishing buddy!
The kids could pull her ears, sit on her, and torture her like crazy and she would never growl or snip at them....she loved the attention.
Bella LOVED the water and was a great swimmer!
She was also the BEST at catching frisbees!
Holdyn could put her in a headlock and wrestle her, they both loved it!
We will miss you Bella!!!

Fredonia Light Parade and a few fun days!
Here we are after the parade in Fredonia. It was a BLAST!! Lots of the family rode on our float and it was fun being involved making and decorating it too
Here is a student I work with, Nate. We invited him to join us since he LOVES Christmas and dressing up as Santa! He did a great job ringing his jingle bells!
Here is Nate Clause and since the real Santa couldn't make it, Ben helped out by dressing up as Ben Clause :)
Ben Clause drove the forklift that pulled the trailer...don't you just love the snow globe hoisted up in front!
Kids looking out the back.
Mommy kissing Santa Clause...ooh la la!
Holdyn on Ben Clause's lap. She thought it was cool that her dad was dressed as Santa.
Here we are making the float and putting on the last minute touches.
Girls driving the fork lift.
We had one last girls shibang with Katie before her wedding day. We sure missed Whitni in Roswell, NM and Shanell, but we had a fun night. (L to R Katie, Andee, Jill, Kandice)
Of course we had to have Katie try the 'Kiss Machine'
Enjoyed the fried ice cream!
Holdyn also had her Pre School Christmas party and performance last week. She Loves Crazy Grandma's Preschool! Kimber enjoyed herself too with the bows :)

Quick trip to Phoenix
Last weekend we headed to the Phoenix area for Kimber's Cystic Fibrosis appointment. We have them monthly and it is getting old. But we managed to make our overnight trip pretty fun! We stayed with my cousin Glenn and his wife Laurel in Mesa. They live near an orange farm where we stopped by for a truckload of oranges :) They are sure yummy straight from the trees!
We made it to the Mesa temple to see the Nativity and all of the lights!
It was awesome! The girls look homeless because we'd just arrived from the 7 hour drive.
They loved the ponds with the bubble lights floating!
Here is Glenn and Holdyn
The girls loved walking on the wall around Glenn's house!
We arrived at cousin Glenn's house and it was all decorated for the holidays! He even had a bubble blower going in place of snow....since they don't see much snow in Mesa, AZ :)
We had to stop going over the Kaibab for Holdyn and Kimber to play in the snow. They were great travelers! Especially for being in the truck so long....down on Sunday and home on Monday after the Dr's appt. Kimber is doing good....gaining weight and her cultures came back negative....which is also a good thing! Anyway, thanks again to Glenn and Laurel for letting us take over your home!!!

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas!
We've had a fun weekend getting ready for the Holiday season!! Tonight for Family Home Evening we made our gingerbread house....I think we ate more candy than we put on the house, but it was sure fun for us and the girls!
We decorated our house on Saturday and on Sunday morning when Holdyn came out into the front room she was soo excited and asked if there were presents from Santa for her. We told her no, but had her look outside. She did and there was snow!! She started dancing around singing that "It's CHRISTMAS!" It was so cute and fun! She is at a great age. Anyway, she hurried and put on her clothes and boots and ran out into the snow....we watched from inside and she came back in pretty quickly....both girls like to sing, "Baby it's cold outside."
Here is our little house with a few decorations and lights up. Just a few more to do and we will be ready for Santa!
Both girls crashed on the couch after we finished decorating the tree.
The stockings have been hung with care.....notice how mine is a wee bit shorter and yellow...that is because it was my stocking from when I was born and my cute mom made the others as they've joined the family. What an AWESOME talent she has! Thanks for sharing mom! Anyway, we are VERY excited at our house for Christmastime to begin!
