Getting Settled in Albuquerque

Whelp, we've made it a week!  Here are a few picts from Sunday afternoon.  Here is our awesome little yard that we are VERY lucky to have.  The grass is astroturf so we can't kill it, but I must say it does get hotsie totsie under your feet in the middle of the day!!

We took these fun pictures of the kids.  They are getting a lot of each other...good thing they are best friends....most of the time.

The girls were being stunt devil's and Ben got some sweet action shots of them doing their jumps!  It was pretty hilarious!  Especially these ones of Holdyn!

Today we went for a drive and saw the temple and went up to the base of the mountain where the Tram leaves from.  The girls can't wait to go on it!  We will have to plan a day trip sometime soon!  It was beautiful though with all of the Cactus' out in bloom.  They had flowers of bright pink and yellow.

These picts are at the tram station.  The girls wanted to have their picture taken with the beautiful roses overlooking the city.

They also loved playing on the rocks, below, you can see the Tram in the background just leaving the station headed up the mountain.
So far so good here in Albuquerque, NM.  We are getting more familiar with the area and having some great family time before Ben starts his residency at UNM. There are 10 other residents here in our Ward at church.  Only one is also just starting his intern year.  It has been such a blessing e to have the church wherever we go.  We've had instant friends and family away from home.  This past Sunday when we walked into church, Holdyn leans over to me and says, "MOM, We've been here before!"  Even though we hadn't, she felt the feelings that we felt of being in a safe place that feels like 'HOME!'
